A collection of our latest updates and technical resources
We are thoroughly enjoying working with Flite and their partners including Nordic Semiconductor. The Fliteboard electronic systems have been proudly developed and manufactured by Tekt since the brand's inception.
Tekt Industries is moving to a larger premise in Abbotsford, and we are excited to share the news. With more space for our electronics assembly line to grow and larger shared build space for us to develop large robotic and electronics systems in conjunction with our clients, this is a very big step forward.
Such an honour and a pleasure to take part in this year's Good Design Awards as we celebrate the efforts and hard work of the Flite team, including Katapult Design and Tekt Industries. Congratulations go out to all involved in making this product a world leading success.
Tekt Industries was honoured to host a wide range of talented engineers at our quarterly hardware hack and 10th anniversary night. It was great to be able to celebrate 10 years in the business of creating amazing hardware systems for clients.
Tekt Industries has recently updated our website to include more detail regarding our services and solutions, including new additions in the areas of consulting and app development.
We recognise that there’s a big difference between theory and practice. Studying engineering is one thing but actually applying it is another. This is why we started our internship program five years ago—to bridge this gap.
With the US and China in the grip of a trade war—and manufacturing disrupted globally by COVID-19, now is a great time to manufacture electronics in Australia. But some companies have long realised the benefits of partnering with local manufacturers. For these lucky few, it’s business as usual.
Italian tech startup Arduino makes some of the most popular electronic prototyping tools on the market, but until recently, two of their products weren’t completely compatible with The Things Network (TTN) here in Australia. So we helped Arduino solve this problem for the Australasian region.
We’re pleased to announce that we have received a $250K grant from AMGC (the Australian Manufacturing Growth Centre) to develop an AR (Augmented Reality) based Quality Control and Inspection system, initially for use in Printed Circuit Board manufacturing.
While we can’t be in the same room as our clients, our design and manufacturing services are going strong throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. COVID-19 has forced us to become more intentional in our communications with clients. In addition, it has prompted us to be more proactive in planning to ensure success during these circumstances.
Tekt Industries has partnered with experience agency AKQA and global technology company, Nordic Semiconductor to build a technology that monitors and restricts the use of heavy-duty vehicles in protected land areas.
If you have an electronic product idea but lack the knowledge, time or resources to make it happen, we can help.
