The Solution

The Bionic Vision backpack system is the second project we have brought to life on behalf of Bionic Vision Technologies. Its aim was to enable portable bionic eye implant operation in a research setting or at home.

This unique hardware included advanced power systems and communication methods for safe data and power delivery to the custom implant, while also facilitating state-of-the-art vision processing on a powerful nVidia accelerated vision-processing and data storage sub-system.

The whole solution was battery powered and packed into a ruggedized housing for safe long-term operation out in the field. This product allowed the field of bionic implants to move forward and help the blind to see again.

Working with THIM, we helped develop a highly compact sleep tracker designed to help improve sleep for people worldwide. As a result, a better night’s sleep is now at your fingertip.

In conjunction with Carbon Cybernetic, we created a next-generation Brain-Computer interface for state-of-the-art Neuroscience research.

Loop +

Working together with Loop+, we built a pressure sensor acquisition system for wheelchair users, to prevent pressure injuries.
